JUSTICE M.L BHAT---A TRUE SON OF THE SOIL---
Kashmir, a paradise and this man was a true reflection of this paradise. The love and respect Justice Bhat had for his beloved Kashmir was immense. He felt so drawn to this place that he would pay a visit every year with his family during summer vacation in Supreme Court. His love for his hometown was not restricted by boundaries. It was with immense grief that his eldest daughter,Dr Anita Dhar (Bhat) and son-in-law Dr Sunil Dhar flew from Delhi for the immersion of Ashes at PRAYAG, Shadipur, Kashmir on June 20.All the prerequisite arrangements were made by Mr Sonnaullah and Dr Khursheed, of Ganderbal. Justice Bhat, who was known to be a strong individual, a person who was not afraid to assert his opinions, was highly loved and appreciated by the people of Kashmir. After six months of his sadly demise, the bereaved family will be praying for him and holding a PUJA, as per rituals on 1st and 2nd July, at his residence in Delhi.
